I fall in love—a lot. Every day brings new passions, fleeting moments and unexpected joys that I simply have to capture. As an experimental painter, I’ve embraced that impulse, chasing curiosity wherever it leads: expressive figures, deconstructed still life’s, intimate landscapes and expansive beaches, the joy of living the good life, reflective moments, humour, and into the rich tapestry of human connection.
My work is an exercise in discovery. I paint primarily in acrylic—layering wildly abstract blooms of color, then carving out “peek-a-boos” with mixed media, pastel, charcoal and watercolor, scraping and dripping to reveal the hidden history beneath. Each canvas becomes an archaeological dig or a psychological dive, uncovering traces of what came before while I respond in real time. Because I’m easily distracted by new inspirations, I often work on several pieces at once, trusting my instincts and my motto, “Dare greatly.” Responding and painting quickly before the internal critic catches up.
In 2022, my husband and I put down roots here on Amelia Island and opened Harlow’s on Beech Upscale Consignment and art gallery. Earlier this year, 2025 we decided go all in on the art business. I took a partner and opened Fringe Fine Art Gallery. The vibrant, supportive community of artists and collectors has only fueled my drive to push boundaries. Now, surrounded by salty air and beaches, incredible canopy trees and historical architecture, I’m free to play, experiment and fall in love again.
My canvases are celebrations of change and connection, of color, calm and chaos, and of the simple joy found in following one’s heart. I hope they invite you to look closely, to uncover your own layers, and to feel inspired to “Dare greatly” in your own life.
